Emerald Azzurra is the first custom-built ocean super yacht launched by Emerald Cruises, sister company to Evergreen Tours and Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours. The ship will set sail on 28 January 2022 on the eight-day Best of the Red Sea itinerary and prices start from $4,778 per person* for an Oceanview Stateroom, or guests can take advantage of the Super Earlybird savings on a Balcony Stateroom from $5,903 per person* and save from $2,624 per couple*.
Once complete, Emerald Azzurra guests will enjoy a luxury small ship cruising experience, with the super yacht carrying just 100 guests in 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, with 88 per cent of cabins featuring a balcony. The yacht features an onboard wellness centre (including spa, gym & sauna), three tenders and a Zodiac for shore landings. Emerald Azzurra also features a marina platform to allow easy access to snorkelling, paddle boarding or swimming at one of the many locations.
As well as having access to small ports and harbours that large ships can’t access, guests will have the opportunity to taste local flavours and cocktails whilst taking in the views from one of the three stunning bars and restaurants.
Glen Moroney, Founder and Chairman of The Scenic Group (including Emerald Cruises) comments:
“We are incredibly excited to see Emerald Azzurra successfully enter the water as the next stage of her build, the completion of the interior, commences. Once again Emerald Cruises is looking to the future and building a game changing vessel at a time when small-ship experiences are gaining in popularity. We can’t wait for past river cruise guests and new customers alike to join us on board our very own ocean-going yacht in 2022.”

Emerald Azzurra Update

Emerald Cruises has released a new video showcasing the initial build of its new super yacht, Emerald Azzurra set to launch in 2021.

On releasing the new video, Glen Moroney, owner and Chairman of the Scenic Group, which includes the Emerald Cruises brands, commented:
“Our time-lapse video shows construction progress of Emerald Azzurra is still on schedule, with the shipyard progressing their works on construction and pre-outfitting of hull blocks as expected. Whilst there are some delays in equipment delivery from Europe and China, we continue to work with the shipyard on how to minimize impact on delivery. The entire Emerald Yacht Cruises team are excited to see the project progressing and look forward to welcoming guests onboard this magnificent yacht as it begins cruising the Mediterranean in 2021.”

The new 110-metre-long Emerald Azzurra is being built in Ha Long City (Vietnam), and will set sail from August 2021 where she will embark on 47 itineraries throughout 2021 and 2022. The new sailings will explore destinations including the Red Sea – Israel, Jordan and Egypt – and the Mediterranean – Greece, Croatia, Italy, France, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta and Spain. Emerald Yacht Cruises will offer guests an intimate yacht cruising experience both on board with capacity set at just 100 guests and on shore, providing unrivalled access to smaller and quieter ports and harbours only small yachts can reach.

Emerald Azzurra will become the first vessel owned by the new Emerald Yacht Cruises brand and will sit alongside Emerald Waterways as the two brands which make up the Emerald Cruises portfolio.
